My Life

Picture
Above you see one of the maple trees in our back yard, as seen in October from our lake.  I live and work in a small town in Michigan.  My home life consists of wife Annemarie (39 years), a dog (Berkley, b. 2010 - pictured at left with his late big sister Leila (speaking of dogs), and a terrific house and property.  I also have two  grown daughters, two sons-in-law, and three grandchildren of whom I am very proud, though they do not live in my neighborhood.  I enjoy golf, tennis, bridge, other card games, and puzzles, and belong to the American Poolplayers Association and the American Contract Bridge League.  I also like to watch sports, especially my beloved Blackhawks and Bears.  My other joy in life is my job, or, more specifically, my students.  For some random photos from my life, click here.  For music I like that you may not have heard, click here.
